IDLEWILD GOLF COURSE

Dear IdleWild Members and Prospective Members,

Now that the 2007 golf season at IdleWild has ended, we can look back on an enjoyable season of golf with some of the best weather that I can remember. I am already looking forward to next season and starting to make plans to improve your golf experiences at IdleWild. Please include any suggestions or comments with your 2008 application.

Jo and her maintenance staff have worked hard to complete some major improvements to the course and with this year’s upgrade of our maintenance equipment the turf was well manicured and the greens smooth and fast. The new golf cart fleet was also a nice improvement for this season. IdleWild has become a well respected course; you can feel proud to be a member.

We have added a small increase to the 2008 membership rates to help offset our rising costs of doing business. We work very hard to offer the best products, services and conditions that we can while controlling our expenses so that our prices can remain as low as possible. The reciprocation agreement with other courses has added a nice value to our memberships. 

Newsletters will be e-mailed again this season. They will not be mailed, but copies will be available at the golf shop for anyone that doesn’t have email access. Please include your email address when you fill out your 2008 membership application.
